9 Years…. How did that Happen?

Doneida's 9 year anniversary

I just received an email reminding me that I have a blog due this month. As I sit here, soaking up a little sun in Austin ☀️, this email got me thinking, not about what to write for the blog (I am on vacation after all), but more about the company I work for as a whole and how I managed to get here.

The end of this month marks my Ninth year as an All Webber! Over 1/4 of my life has been spent with this company and Good Lordy, have things changed since 2010. I have seen several employees come and go. As a matter of fact, I am the only one left, from the Marketing side that was here when I started. We have moved locations, changed owners, we’ve joined a number of local organizations, we’ve gone on some awesome team building adventures, and, both in our personal and corporate lives, celebrated some “wins.” In every way, All Web has GROWN. We have taken on many, many new clients and even created new services to offer to those clients. One that I’m particularly proud of, is Social Media Management, but maybe I am biased. 😉

When I started at All Web, I was hired to take care of the Pay Per Click Accounts, and if we’re being completely honest, I had NEVER even heard of PPC. In general, I had no serious interest in marketing and knew nothing about Web Design. The company I worked for had just downsized, so I was simply looking for a job.

I realize this may not be reassuring my current clients, but I promise, I’ve learned ALOT in these past nine years; both about our company, all of the services we offer, and about myself.

Starting with All Web is no longer just a “job,” but a career that I didn’t know I was looking for. Working here enabled me to find my career and another passion: marketing in a way that helps small businesses grow! After working at AWP for a few years (more than I’d ever imagined when I was hired) I went back to school! I’ve gotten my Associates in Marketing and am working on my Bachelors. AWP taught me that “the job” I needed was actually more of a future that I wanted.

“AWP taught me that ‘the job’ I needed was actually more of a future that I wanted.”

Looking back, working here has turned into a career, but it’s also gifted me with friendships that I didn’t see coming either. After working somewhere this long, I can count on both hands the employees that have come and gone and the ones that are still All Webber’s today. A large number of them, that I would call FRIENDS before co-workers. I have been through ALOT in the nearly 3,285 days with them. We’ve celebrated babies, weddings, new jobs, new relationships, ups, downs and so much more and it’s brought us closer. I can honestly say if it weren’t for these people (both past and present All Webbers) I know I’d have never made it this long! Enjoying the people you work with, makes it so much easier to enjoy my job 💕!

Maybe it’s this Texas sun that’s getting to me, but I find myself thankful for each and every one of these last 9 years (even the tough ones).

I’m speaking for all of us when I say that I can’t wait to help YOUR business grow! Whether it’s through Marketing, like PPC and Social Media (ahem, shameless plug there) or with a new website, improved content or email marketing! Reach out today, and give me another reason to be thankful for my All Web Journey! For now though…. I’m gonna take a dip in the pool; this “dry heat” is still really warm!
